A Sweet, Sweet Gift
A couple of days ago I found this gorgeous envelope in my mailbox from Alwen, of La Belle Brocante, with this even more gorgeous postcard inside.
Also inside was a tiny vellum envelope with the smallest snippets of paper in it I had ever seen.
I gently pulled the snippets out and realized they were all connected by a piece of fine thread.
Alwen had made a banner for me spelling out the name French Sentiments. Imagine!! Such detailed, painstaking work, done out of the goodness of her heart. I'm honored!
The little treasure hangs over a canvas right beside my desk, but will travel with me to each and every jewelry show I do.
