Moss Island Road. Maybe not appropriate for your design but it was the home of Mary Helen VonWalde. I knew her back in the fifties when I was a child. She raised sheep, spun their wool and wove fabric from it to make shirts for her son and husband. She also painted and did many other sorts of craft and art works.
Prescott revisited -- Prescott was a town that is now under the Quabbin reservoir....taken - very few pieces of it remain. There has been a song written about it and former townspeople go back to re-visit the site and share memoried....
How about: "Autumn in Whispering Hills" There used to be a golf course in Conesus, NY called that. Not the autumn part. It was a pretty place, somewhat secluded, with a beautiful view, and a nice breeze. I hated golf, but loved that place. The name is changed now but I still remember that place.
What about plantation, something like Autumn down on the plantation. It might sound too,Southern but I could see a big plantation home, barns, fields, forest in a variety of seasonal settings. The other thing I thought of was Riverbanks, I don't think these two have been mentioned. Cant wait to see your ideas with a new series. Much luck in the new year!! mel
I am posting on behalf of my very creative Mom, Nancy who is having difficulty posting her idea. Her proposed name for your new sampler is Autumn Croft Gatherings. Then the others in the series could be named Summer Croft Gatherings, Spring Croft Gatherings, Winter Croft Gatherings. Happy stitching!
