New Designs for Nashville, 2019!

In my computer files, this is called A Stitcher's Stocking, but it ended up being The Embroideress Stocking. According to Instagram and Facebook, it is, by far, the most popular of my new designs. It was stitched and finished (so beautifully) by Rindy Richards. The linen is 36-count Beige from Weeks Dye Works. Needlepoint Silks were used in 123, 124, 125, 183, 406, 473, 642, 704, 867, 899, 963 and 998. As always, a conversion to DMC is provided. The back is a cotton quilting fabric done in a patchwork design by Rindy. The stitch count is 172 wide by 447 high.

This is H.L.'s Moth. This is a reproduction of an antique sampler found for my by Theresa Venette. I am ever to grateful! The original sampler was worked in brightly colored yarns, but my repro is done in silk threads. Beth Wiksen stitched the model (perfectly I might add!) and, like the original stitcher, she pieced the fabric in the exact same places on both the right and left sides. Carmen Sutton (the brave, tiny stitching girl that she is!), stitched the design over one of 40-count linen and finished it into a wonderful flat pin cushion. I, in turn, turned it into a necklace. I will have necklace finishing kits available in Nashville complete with all the parts you'll need and finishing instructions. Our sampler is stitched on 40-Count Havanna from Weeks Dye Works using needlepoint silks in: 124, 204, 205, 208, 296, 692, 693, 954, 986. A conversion to DMC is provided. The stitch count it: 133 wide by 74 high.

This design is called Mother Nature. It was sitched by Beth Wiksen and is modeled after my Deer Santa design. This is stitched on 36-Count Legacy from Picture This Plus using Needlepoint Silks in: 154, 184A, 207, 324, 546, 693, 694, 704, 952, 957, 963, 964, 976, 991B. As always, a conversion to DMC is provided.

Needle Work (of course!) was stitched in record time by Carol Sims, who stitches one model a year for me! The linen is 36-Count Relic and Needlepoint Silks were used in: 315, 841, 993, 972. As always,.......you know the drill! The stitch count is 95 wide by 119 high. I look foward to seeing all the different color ways you can use in this design!

This one is called Exceedingly Fine Tea, though it's already been shortened in my head to Fine Tea! This was stitched by Rindy Richards on 40-Count Bramble by Picture This Plus. Needlepoint Silks were used in: 186, 202, 315, 324, 345, 701. 931, 931A, 954, 957, 976 and one strand of The Thread Gatherer's Silk 'n Colors in Slate Blue. A conversion is provided.... The stitch count is 73 wide by 209 high.

Ocean Blue stocking was stitched and finished by Rindy Richards. Rindy is SO good at these stockings!! She even added tiny pearls to the very bottom of the stocking around the treasure chest. Perfect! Check out that whale!! Our stocking is stitched on Arctic from Picture This Plus which is such a beautiful color. Both Needlepoint Silks and The Thread Gatherer's Silk 'n Colors were used. Needlepoint Silks used are: 243, 561, 562, 564, 566, 571, 607, 635, 772, 862, 877, 955, 993. Silk 'n Colors needed are: Honeysuckle White, Industrial Stone and Smoke Stack. The stitch count is 172 wide by 447 high.

Ruth Ellen Haystack is an antique reproduction sampler. Our was stitched on 36-Count Beige linen from Weeks Dye Works using Needlepoint Silks in 122, 124, 293, 963, 964, 966. The stitch count is 186 wide by 141 high. I love the muted colors in this sampler!
