Notes (Edited - Three Times!)
Just a few notes for you today!
First, here is the lowdown on The Village:
NPI silks used: 205, 244, 312, 313, 316, 331, 479, 696, 721, 863, 912, 957, 964, 965, 966, 967, 973, 988, 993. As always, a conversion to DMC is provided.
I used 40-Count Vintage Examplar from Lakeside Linens.
Stitch Count: 248 wide by 160 high.
The frame is from Valley House Primitives.
And,
I've been getting a bunch of requests about doing more Hawk Run Hollow designs. When my sister, Marty, took over Carriage House Samplings a few years ago, she then owned the intellectual rights to the Hawk Run Hollow series and the stocking series. There will be no Hawk Run Hollow designs coming from me. But, while driving home from the printer's today in PA, I had an idea for another series I'd like to do. Kind of similar to the Hawk Run series, but not. I'll keep you posted. And I'm thinking of a Nashville, 2015 release.
And,
How I would love to see (and post on my blog) your photos of my designs you've stitched!
(Kathy Barrick designs, not CHS designs!)
Please send me some! My email is kathybarrick@gmail.com.

And,
Shopowners: I now have 31 models and would love to schedule trunk shows!
And
Cece from The Thread Gatherer has an Etsy shop and she has kindly listed the over-dyed silk I used in Rebecca and Rodney if you are having trouble finding it elsewhere.
And,
The printers say The Village charts will be ready early next week. I'll keep you posted on that too!
And,
I'll be taking my trunk show to Valley Needleworks in Middletown, VA on Saturday, August 2nd and staying to meet customers. If you're in the area, come see me! I'll be there at 10:00 AM.

And,
I'll be teaching my journal class for the Virginia Guild of Needlewomen on October 18th in Richmond. You can contact them for more information.
And,
I think that's it! Have a great weekend!

Can't wait for the Village - stitching on Rodney tonight - really beautiful!!!
Hi Kathy!
Hope you're enjoying Rodney and were able to get the silks you need. I'm so glad you let me know that you were having trouble finding the Thread Gatherer's silks. Glad you like the Village!
Kathy
Hi Kathy, looking forward to your new series! I've sent you e-mail with a photo of your stitched design :-)
SO EXCITED about your new idea for another series!!!
I know there are a LOT of your fans out here who'll be THRILLED to hear this news. Keep up the great work.
So, what brand of vitamins are you taking?
Thanks for all the notes, Kathy! Hope to see you (are you dragging your Mom along?) on the 2nd.
Enjoy your weekend!

I forgot to say that I really like the stag print at the top of your post.
