New Jewelry and Apartment Decorating
I've been busy today!! I started about 6:00 this morning when I got up and started working on jewelry. Before I knew it, three pieces were finished!
Then I headed off to Virginia to Lucketts and The Design House and Lucketts Store Christmas open house. What FUN!!! Each and every room was a Christmas delight!
I found the vintage gray velvet chair at Lucketts Store and could NOT resist! Rose claimed it immediately! Bella was fine with that as she had the couch to herself!
Yes, that's a Christmas tree in my living room. How embarrassing! I found it here in Hagerstown, brought it home, put it in a vintage galvanized bucket (held in place with plaster of Paris), and don't have the heart to put it away. At least I haven't decorated it yet!
So, now for the jewelry...
an incredible antique, French, sterling silver perfume bottle with a hand stopper,
A French cicada (considered to be good luck),
And a piece of Black Forest jewelry (carved antler), probably from Germany...
More photos of the jewelry can be found HERE.
Hope you have a great weekend!

What a face! I love that tree. Hope you've healed nicely!
Love your creative energy--can you spare some?
Your apartment is truly amazing. I can tell you are having so much fun.
I love Luckett. Hollis and I go there quite a bit. Their spring antique show is a must.

I haven't been to Luckett in ages. But need to get up there soon. Especially now that I'm retired and have time to do it!

That chair was made just for Rosé! Your apartment looks great. Are those little apothecary bottles on the shelf on the wall?
Yep! I LOVE old apothecary bottles!
