My Weekend With My Sister
I spent the weekend with my sister Marty and her family in Silver Spring. We had such a good time! We didn't do anything special, just hung around, talked shop, gardened, relaxed and regenerated.
The above photo is Marty's Carriage House Samplings studio.
It's comforting to know that Marty has as much trouble keeping her studio neat and tidy as I had when I had Carriage House!
Sampler design companies mean lots and lots of storage and lots and lots of boxes.
Although, her actual designing corner is perfectly neat and tidy!
Marty also has a painting studio. It's such fun to visit and see her art work.
Even if it's in her computer:
Marty's area of Silver Spring is heavily populated with deer.
On Saturday my niece, Grace, serenaded me with her ukalalee and her gorgeous voice.
This sweet girl will be on the big screen one day!
