Fabric (again!)
This is try number two for this post. Somehow I just deleted the entire (and finished) post I just wrote without actually posting it.
The fabric process has begun!
My clotheslines are full and I haven't even emptied one tub of fabric.
I do enjoy the view as I work away at the clothesline.
It's the perfect day to hang fabric on the line....sunny, cool, very breezy...
But I've decided it will take me years to list all of this fabric on Etsy.
So I need to come up with the perfect plan to start giving fabric away on my blog.
I'm thinking I need to find a way to give you the fabric in the colors you prefer without it costing me a fortune in postage. Fabric is heavy! In fact, I need to line the wheelbarrow with old fabric so I can bring all the fabric up to the clothesline from the barn in bigger quantities. That will help!
When I come up with the perfect plan, I will let you know!

A suggestion? How about those one rate mailing envelopes? I believe they will hold about 2 yards for $5 something. We could pay the shipping through PayPal if you want to give away the fabric. For example, I would like two - one with reds/burg and one with gold/tans (actually anything on the line right now :-) Then you could PP me for $10... The shipping would be covered and you rid of fabric, we'd have four yards of fabric for $10 and change.
Kathy, I feel your pain. I will soon be doing the same thing with quilting and dec fabrics. I think I'll keep a watchful eye on your final, no doubt brilliant solution! :)
Wow, I love the bird prints you have shown on the line!! I think Charlene has a good idea about the one rate mailing envelopes.
Anxious to see what you decide!

love the fabric pictured in the previous post...greeny-gold with bird and nest...let me know if you are selling it!
Lovely view... you can stuff a few yards of fabric in those Flat Rate Priority Envelopes. As has already been suggested... ask your winners to reimburse you for postage through PayPal.
Cheering you on and am interested in how you'll proceed. What a lovely setting you live in, so quiet and beautifully rural. Jane
Such a pretty snap of your fabrics, gorgeous!
I can't imagine having to separate and package that much. Maybe you should do only one color each month! If you have any red, white, blue, or patriotic, you can ship to Quilts of Honor for veterans, too.
looks so wonderfully sunny where you are, and also looks like you have a lot of work ahead of you! Good luck!
Oh my goodness....what gorgeous fabric!!! And your photo's and landscape are gorgeous..it's beautiful there :)
Take care,
doreen
Such wonderful fabrics.
