What got me going on the subject was the question my niece, Grace, always asks...What's your favorite color?"  

 

I've always told Grace I didn't have a favorite color because I LOVE so many colors, I couldn't possibly choose just one.

 

The following is true in my family:

Blue has ALWAYS been my Mom's favorite color.  She's always preferred to decorate with blue, has always had more blue clothing than any other color.  She's never wavered a bit.  In all of her 88 years!

I still know all of my brothers' favorite colors from when they were kids:  Tom's favorite was yellow, Dan's favorite was red and Jerry's favorite was green.

I have NO idea what either of my sisters' favorite colors were.  And, I have no idea what mine was when I was a kid. 

I remember my Dad hated the color purple and to this day, both Marty and I do not like purple.

When Marty, Grace and Anna came to visit this past weekend, Grace asked me her usual question.  And this time, I had an answer!  I told her it was blue.  How did I come to this conclusion?

 

Pinterest!!  I have a board on Pinterest called "colors" because if this house ever sells, I look forward to decorating a new house in pleasant, inviting, calm colors that aren't brown, mustard, barn red, etc.

 

And what color do you think I've pinned most on Pinterest?  Blue!  

 

 Then, I started looking at all of my jewelry I've made over the past several years.

And what color do you think I use the most?  Blue!

Grace was truly happy to finally get a real answer from me!  And Gracie's favorite color.....ORANGE!!
