Crowned Heart
Today I made a necklace using the crowned heart piece I recently purchased. The heart is a locket.
It opens! And it's dated...1875.
I added some gorgeous mammoth pearls found at a local bead show, a barn swallow pendant, an old French souvenir book locket, a mother of pearl hand, lots of silver chain and some giant rhinestone ball beads. It's (unfortunately) ridiculously expensive. The locket was a small fortune in itself, but I couldn't resist it.

I do love those crowned hearts!!
