Hello from Missouri!!

It's been quite a trip so far....

I woke up Tuesday morning at home with a very hot tooth.

Went to my dentist who confirmed I had an abscess.

(In a tooth that had already had a root canal about 10 years ago.)

The dentist gave me antibiotics and pain pills.

They didn't work. Not even a little bit.

It made for a horrible plane trip from Maryland to Missouri. Pressurized cabins and infected teeth do not mix well.

Major head ache, tooth ache, ear ache, sore throat, swollen glands.

Today I found a endodontic dentist here in Missouri and had an emergency root canal. It wasn't a bit fun, but I'm starting to feel better. I'm going to spend the next few hours sleeping.

Margaret, the owner of Cecilia's Samplers here in Branson, Missouri was so incredibly wonderful. She drove me to my appointment - an hour away. She sat and waited for me the entire time - three hours. She took me to have my prescriptions filled, then she bought me soup. She is incredibly kind and wonderful and I'm so grateful to her and so happy we had a (albeit weird) opportunity to spend time together.
