Sneak Peeks of New Designs
Norden's Fall Needlework Show is just around the corner - August 10th - 18th. It's a wholesale show, for shops only, but certainly stitchers can pre-order designs through their favorite needlework shop. I'll have two new designs for the show and thought I'd tease you a bit with some sneak peeks today!
The first one is called "My Day Complete" and contains a perfectly perfect verse some friends shared with me on Facebook. And the design is a reproduction of an antique watercolor done by Daniel Kriebel, an artist who created Pennsylvania-German fraktur in the early 1800's. An incredible sweet and generous friend, Kathy Lesieur, owns the original watercolor and allowed me to reproduce it in needle and thread. I am ever so grateful!
The other is a Family Record sampler featuring the family of none other than Daniel Boone. I know a few people in Kentucky who might enjoy that one particularly (Beth and Poodle)! I loved the idea of mixing a bit of American history into our stitching!
