Punching
I've been punching like crazy!! At the Primitive Stitcher's Society Retreat in Williamsburg, I'm teaching a beginning punch needle class. The smaller design above is the class project.
And then, because I was having just too much fun punching, I designed a new punch needle piece. Which, by the way, I ended up punching twice. I totally messed up my first try and had to start fresh. I ended up liking the colors in my second try much better than my first, so I was fine with that! And, lucky me, Faye Riggsbee will be finishing both of the pieces above for me. I LOVE Faye's work and can't wait to see what she does with these!
Beth Wiksen is stitching away on another new release for the Retreat. And she's doing the finishing for me as well. Thank goodness!! Beth is an amazing finisher! I am finishing-challenged. I look and look at something and just thing "how?????" and never, ever come up with the answer.
And, I have another tiny sampler design in the works that I hope to bring to the Retreat as a kit. Thank you to Carol Sims for the inspiration for that piece!
I'm sooooo looking forward to the PSS Retreat! I'll be going with Carol and we always have a ton of fun together.
Rumor has it that Lori Brechlin is in town today! YAY!! I'm waiting for her text to go meet her at the antique mall. In the meantime, I'll be vacuuming up all the little snippets of thread which are covering the floors in this place. Even the dogs are covered with thread - seriously!
Hope you all have a good one!

Love them both & wish I were coming to that retreat. Now I'll need to learn how to do punch needle,.
STOP your hurting me!!! Even if I only stitched/punched your designs there is no way I could keep up with your designing genius its like an endless flow of inspiration!!! Keep them coming though because I can take the PAIN!
Hope you have a great time at the retreat!!!
Have fun! Should be a wonderful retreat.
