My Jewelry Bench
I woke up this morning dying to make jewelry,
took one look at my bench and KNEW it had to be cleaned.
Can't imagine why I thought that!!
I have a collection of antique velvet boxes and thought they would look much better on my bench than a bunch of little dishes holding stuff.
Two hours later.....
I celebrated with a fresh piece of black velvet which serves as my work surface.
Tools of the trade - flush cutters, round nose and two flat nose pliers.
And my favorite velvet box, all ready to go!

Danny was wanting a piece of jewelry made featuring that cool bead in the middle of the first picture. You did know that organized chaos is a sign of artistic genius....you have that in abundance(genius that is).
How neat and tidy, but in my advancing years, can never remember what is in each beautiful box. LOL
love the velvet boxes I need to clean up my studio.

I want to sit at that table and swoon. I liked it the way it was but I like those beautiful boxes, too.
There's nothing like a clean work surface! Looks good.
What a treat to see where you create your gorgeous jewelry! Wherever my eye traveled around your studio, there was another beautiful inspiring object. I'm swooning over your velvet boxes and wee swan studio mascots! Thanks for giving us a glimpse into your lovely studio, Kathy! I
You know what they say how the work table represents the worker’s mind. Well, a jeweler’s mind is vastly creative: disorganized in a way, but deftly stunning. I really admire your resolve to try and arrange your table, though I assume it’s for the sake of keeping a cool head while making one. Good luck with that!
