Exciting News!
Now that Beth Twist has posted this news on her blog, I guess I can post it here too....
Beth will be exhibiting at Market this year.....
And she'll be exhibiting in my room!!
Beth and I have been friends for years and years, but have never met.
I cannot wait to meet her!
She's such a fabulous designer, I know she will have an amazing market and I know there will be many, many people (besides me) excited to meet her.
And, I can hardly wait to see the sampler-that-used-to-be-mine reproduced. It's an amazing sampler and I can only imagine how wonderful Beth's reproduction will be!
And, in case you're wondering, the photos above are your first sneak peeks of The Beast!!

In between all the sampler designing, framing, photographing, jewelry making, chart lay-outs, chart stuffing I've been doing, I've been playing around in my kitchen will an old hotel key board I found at Beaver Creek. Actually, I traded a piece for it, so it didn't cost me a cent, and it's been so much fun adding little treasures to it!
Below the key board is my growing collection of antique mercury glass. Liz has me totally hooked on it! When it was made, it was known as "poor man's silver" and I can see why. It's so fun to collect antiques that are inexpensive - especially after years and years of collecting the expensive stuff. I guess my new kind of antiques could be called "poor girl's treasures"!!
