Old Punxsutawney Phil blew it this morning. Darned rodent saw his shadow when carried out of hibernation at 7:30 AM this morning; all of which means six more weeks of winter for us. Let's hope it's not true! We're supposed to get more snow tonight and tomorrow, and I'm hoping it's our very last snow for this winter. My fingers are crossed!
I made some jewelry this morning.....
This one is my favorite. It's a sterling silver capped pincushion in a heart shape, probably from an antique chatelaine.
I mixed it with antique mother of pearl rosary beads and sterling snake chains, all from France.
This one is a layered necklace I call Warriors. The antique mother of pearl button on this piece is gorgeous!
And now I'm off to design some samplers! I love creative days!
Wishing you all a wonderful Goundhog Day!
