Monday Night in Paris
Today, Liz and I went up the lift in the Eiffel Tower. First we had to wait in line for three hours. That part was NOT fun, but finally making it up there made it all worthwhile. I chickened out going to the very top. We made it to the second floor, which is actually about half way up the tower and that was enough for me. The views were amazing. The three photos above were taken from the second floor. After an hour or so up there, we decided to take the stairs down. WOW! It took about 45 minutes and my legs were literally shaking by the time we reach ground! Just from going DOWN!!
We had planned to go to Versailles tomorrow to see Marie Antoinette's Palace, but with a little research we learned Tuesdays are the busiest days there. So, we'll go to Versailles on Wednesday and tomorrow we'll go to Notre Dame instead. I'm really looking forward to seeing both places, so I'm fine with the schedule change! It's a little harder for Liz....she's a little less flexible than I.
More soon!

I can't imagine what the pics would be from higher up. These were fantastic. Thanks for sharing.
Happy Vacation!

Yo Mo and Little Mo!
I've sold all your stuff and have a big wad of cash to send you so you can buy a French villa!!

Wow, gorgeous pictures! (I am so jealous!) If you have time, try to go to Sainte Chapelle - you will not regret it.
(A tidbit from my days as an Art History major: it's said that the Eiffel Tower so dominates the Parisian landscape, the only place you can go to not see it is - you guessed it - up in the Tower itself. :)
oh Kathy & Liz!
*swoooon*
I'm dizzy just thinking about going up in that tower, but I would have done it too, even though I'm afraid of heights...
your pictures are beautiful, and your goodies are just waiting to become treasures to be worn...I can't wait to see!
Blessings to you both!
