Vacation Mode
Vacation, you ask? In January you ask? And where am I going?? MONTANA!! Am I nuts, you ask?
Definitely!! Actually Anne and I are going to Montana to visit her parents for a week. We'll be celebrating a late Christmas, relaxing, stitching, and just hanging out with Anne's Mom and Dad.
Any normal needlework designer, who is getting ready for the biggest Market of the year in Nashville, would not be leaving for a week in early January. Any N.N.D. (Normal Needlework Designer) would be in panic mode. Any N.N.D. would be printing charts like a crazy person, getting old charts re-stocked and packing, packing, packing. I decided I could put all of the joy off for a week! I'm really already behind because I've been sick since the Monday after Christmas and can't seem to kick it. When I return, rested, well and rejuvenated, I'll panic, print, re-stock and pack.
Autumn at Hawk Run Hollow is designed!! YAY!! I put the final finishing touches on it last night. Carol has been stitching like crazy. I believe, from the things she's told me, that she has eight blocks stitched. She plans to have it finished by February 4th. She is AMAZING. She's the fastest stitcher I know! We plan to meet when I get back from Montana, so I can measure the sampler and pick out a moulding, then get the frame ordered so it will be ready as soon as Carol is finished.
I'm off to pack for Montana! Will catch up with you when I get back!
