Liz
Last night, I drove down to Baltimore and met my daughter, Liz, at her work. That in itself was a treat. She works for a jewelry company and I had never seen their studio/work area. It was amazing! I have SO much to learn!
After dinner and a little shopping, we went back to Liz's apartment. Luckily, I had my camera with me and decided to take a few (read lots) photos. It's a gorgeous place! Liz has quite a knack for decorating!
The photos with the dark teal walls are of her dining room. Notice the art in all the photos. She worked at an art gallery in Baltimore for a few years and collected some cool stuff.
The shots with the gray walls are of her living room.

Even her curtains are cool! I love the way they drape on the floor. Wouldn't work in my house, but it sure works in hers!
The photos with red walls are of her bedroom. She wouldn't let me photograph her bed cause it wasn't made. I suggested she make it really fast, but that was a big no go!
The photos with green walls are of her studio. Remember the photos I've shown you of my studio? Quite a difference!!! One day......
Liz had a present for me! It was so beautifully wrapped, I snapped a few pictures before opening:
It was a book! About Paris! We're going in March and neither of us can wait!! We're making such fun plans! I don't think March will EVER get here! Liz has been to Paris twice and I've never been. It's very cool that she's familiar with the metro system, knows where we MUST go, where we MUST eat and the things we MUST do!

What a great apartment! Love the deep, rich colors and the beautiful artwork as well. How wonderful to visit Paris in the spring time, and better yet-with your daughter!
Hope the coming months fly right by. You'll be on your way before you know it.

You have a talented daughter -- love her apartment! How exciting that you're going to Paris together in the Spring. So cool! It must be really neat to have a daughter on her own and to visit her apartment. My daughter is still in college. :D
Wow! Liz gets her decorating talent from you. She has an amazing apartment. What a fun trip the two of you have coming up, going to Paris together... it's the sort of thing memories are made of. ;)
You got some really lovely photos here! This lady does have some really lovely works of art hanging up but I think a Carriage House Samplings design stitched would just make the walls look even more beautiful!!
What lovely photos and what a talented young woman - like mother like daughter!
Great pictures! I love your daughter's studio!
