Hello from Philly
Hi Everyone!
I'm in Philadephia with Liz for the weekend. She's doing her big wholesale jewelry show. So far it's been exciting, stressful, fun and exhausting! The jewelry is gorgeous and very inspiring. I haven't seen any that resembles my kind of jewelry, but I am in awe of the workmanship of the jewelry I've seen. I need lots of training! There are several schools in the Baltimore area that offer jewelry programs. I wish I lived a little closer, but I keep thinking it's time I start taking some classes. I need more skills!!
As much as I love the jewelry part of my life, I have been focusing on the sampler part of my life as well. Christmas at Hawk Run Hollow is a-l-m-o-s-t done. Carol is stitching the 11th block and 12th block is almost finished being designed. The frame has been ordered and when I get back home next week, I can start working on the lay-out for the chart. The silk thread list isn't quite ready yet, but should be within a couple weeks. I'll post it as soon as I can.
I plan to have two other new designs for the St. Charles Market in late September. I'll give you more details later. My thanks to Joanne Ambrose for stitching An Independent Mind for me. It's gorgeous Jo and I so appreciate all your support with this one!
Would you believe I stitched the third new design MYSELF??? That's quite a shocker, huh?!
I hope everyone is having a great weekend!
