Art Update
Art is home from the hospital. And he's thrilled to be here! We are learning the routine of his care. Fortunately, he has one working arm and his legs are fine, so there is lots he can do on his own. There is also lots he cannot do.
This has been my first opportunity to post. Thank you, thank you for all of your wonderful comments, e-mails, phone calls, good wishes and prayers. They are so very appreciated. I wish I could answer each of you individually, but I just can't. Please know that I am very grateful.
Will keep you posted. Since Wednesday, I've gotten absolutely NO work done. Be patient, that thread list will come eventually!

Kathy, make sure you and he both take it easy. It's good to hear he's home and has some functioning parts at least. :D We're patient -- don't rush anything!
Kathy - I missed the post about your husband! How absolutely scary, but I'm so happy to hear that he's home and improving!
And don't worry - we'll wait as long as it takes for Christmas! First things first - take care of both your husband and yourself!!
I'm glad your husband is going to be okay. Glad to read that he is home and doing better.
Oh gosh Kathy, I'm so glad Art is home. Like everyone else said, take care of him and of you too.
xoxoox
Will Art regain the lost mobility through physical therapy? Fingers crossed that everyone stays well!
There is truly no place like home- glad your DH is well enough to be there.
Sending continued thoughts for a speedy healing process!!
