Kathy Barrick: The Goode Huswife

I have VERY exciting news for you! Anne Brown, The Goode Huswife (pronounced The Good Housewife) has decided to re-release her old designs. And she has enlisted my help. In the days, weeks and months to come, you will find her old designs in MY Etsy Shop (www.KathyBarrick.Etsy.com), Anne's Etsy Shop (GoodeHuswife.Etsy.com), and on Ebay under Anne's seller name: AviothFR15.

Actually her first re-release is already on eBay. It is The Book of Spells and here is the link:

This is going to be quite a process! There is a lot of work to be done. Please be patient as we work through the nuts and bolts of having her designs reprinted.

What prompted this decision? Anne was recently made aware of some of her old designs being sold on eBay that were obvious illegal copies, for outrageous amounts of money. She hates the thought of stitchers being ripped off for her old designs. The only way we knew we could stop this was to re-publish her designs ourselves.

In the meantime, please refrain from purchasing Anne's old designs at severely marked up prices on eBay. Anne's legitimate reprints are on their way.

If you have requests for certain designs, please feel free to email me kathybarrick@gmail.com or convo me on Etsy. I may not be able to respond to each email or convo, but will start a list of your requests.

The designer gets the money not the reseller-that always seemed unfair to me and stitchers get to stitch wonderful designs that are more affordable.
