To those of you who didn't find out in time that I had to close my Etsy shop early, I do apologize.  You may contact Marty at 301-437-1028 on or after December 1st to order charts.

Marty and I need to make a change of plans.  My Etsy shop for Carriage House Samplings charts will disappear very, very soon.  The last day I will have access to my charts to fill Etsy orders is Monday, November 22nd.  If there are charts you want, please order by Monday.

We will be moving charts, computers, etc. to Marty's on Tuesday to begin the transition.  Marty will not be selling charts on Etsy at all.

Rumor has it that Marty has finished two new designs!!  Yay!!

I've started creating my Christmas line of jewelry.  I've been saving antique Christmas pieces for almost a year now and it's such fun to finally use them!  You'll find a couple in my Etsy shop:  here.  More are coming soon!  And, I'll have a new category on my website called "Joyeux Noël".  Chelsea, website designer extraordinaire, will be doing that very soon.




At the antique mall where I'm working, the Christmas Open House was October 28th.  The mall is stunning with all the antique Christmas stuff everywhere.  So, in my head, the Christmas season started very early this year!  I'm dying to start decorating my house, but it IS a bit early!

Liz and I had a great day yesterday!  We went to Lucketts, Virginia to the Design House and to Lucketts Store  (http://luckettstore.com/design-house).  The Design House was totally decorated for Christmas and was incredibly beautiful.  If any of you can get there, do it!!  It's a Winter Wonderland! 

I have amazing news for you!  This will knock your socks off!!!

Carriage House Samplings is NOT going away after all!!  My baby sister, Marty, will be taking over Carriage House Samplings effective December 1, 2010.  Marty is the best sister a girl could have and I know she will LOVE this new direction her life is taking.  Currently Marty is an Art Director for The Washington Post newspaper and an oil painter.  Her work is fabulous!  You can see it on her website (www.MartyBarrick.com).  She is looking forward to continuing the Hawk Run Hollow Series, which I'm sure will thrill you all to death!  Marty has been brainstorming other ideas as well and I can hardly wait to see what she does!

So, I will continue to fill Etsy orders until December 1st.  At that time, Marty will be filling all orders from her place.  The Carriage House Etsy shop will still be disappearing on January 1, 2011.  Stay tuned!!!

I'll be back soon with more info as it becomes available.  Just wanted to give you the scoop!!
