Because I'm such a party animal, I will be enjoying New Year's Eve here at home. I wish all of you safe travels, wherever you may be going.

Thought I'd share a few photos of this year's Christmas decorating. Not quite as extensive as in years past, but quite festive nonetheless!

We finally finished my old office. WHAT a project that was. I'm very happy it's done! Our next project will be the living room. That room needs to have the floors ripped up to expose the original floor, the walls re-done and lots of painting. Doesn't sound so bad, actually!

Then.... are you ready for this? We're thinking of selling the house. Believe it or not. Art's commute from York to Hagerstown, MD each day is grueling. It's an hour and a half drive each way. He already works long hours and the commute just gets harder and harder. HUGE SIGH!

We don't have a plan yet. I'm not sure if we're going to look for an old house or a newer house. We know we don't want another restoration job. And I know I don't want this to be our final move because I don't want to stay in the Hagerstown/Frederick area forever and ever.

I'm not a happy girl about this plan. I love our house. I love my studio. I love the pool. I love the land. But, sometimes you've got to bite the bullet and do what's best.

Anyone interested in a practically finished 1804 stone house in York, PA?!

More tomorrow! It's freezing in my Studio and I'm headed back up to the house. It's still snowing. By the looks of my car, I don't think I'm going anywhere soon!!

Inside it's so delightful!! We're in the middle of a huge snowstorm! We have about a foot so far and it's supposed to continue all night.

Photos soon. I've taken tons, but have to get down to the studio to load them on my computer down there.

I'm so lucky to have such a friend.

I've been working on this necklace for days. I've kept it on my desk rather than on my jewelry bench so that I can work on it between everything else I work on. Actually, I've dedicated a few hours of work on it while I do stuff like watch 3 episodes of Grey's Anatomy and 2 episodes of Private Practice and an episode or two of Brothers & Sisters and The Good Wife.

I almost hated to see it end! Almost...

But after making 45 inches of gemstone chain, I had had enough.

And I ran out of TV shows to watch.
