Liz came home this weekend. She is such an inspiration. She brings out the most creative me. She spent the night Saturday night and I woke up early Sunday morning and came down to my studio and made this piece.

We also booked our trip to Paris while Liz was here! I'm so excited, I can hardly contain myself! We'll be leaving March 11, 2010 and will come home on March 22nd. We'll be spending Liz's birthday in Paris! What fun!

Liz

Last night, I drove down to Baltimore and met my daughter, Liz, at her work. That in itself was a treat. She works for a jewelry company and I had never seen their studio/work area. It was amazing! I have SO much to learn!

After dinner and a little shopping, we went back to Liz's apartment. Luckily, I had my camera with me and decided to take a few (read lots) photos. It's a gorgeous place! Liz has quite a knack for decorating!

The photos with the dark teal walls are of her dining room. Notice the art in all the photos. She worked at an art gallery in Baltimore for a few years and collected some cool stuff.

The shots with the gray walls are of her living room.

Even her curtains are cool! I love the way they drape on the floor. Wouldn't work in my house, but it sure works in hers!

The photos with red walls are of her bedroom. She wouldn't let me photograph her bed cause it wasn't made. I suggested she make it really fast, but that was a big no go!

The photos with green walls are of her studio. Remember the photos I've shown you of my studio? Quite a difference!!! One day......

Liz had a present for me! It was so beautifully wrapped, I snapped a few pictures before opening:

It was a book! About Paris! We're going in March and neither of us can wait!! We're making such fun plans! I don't think March will EVER get here! Liz has been to Paris twice and I've never been. It's very cool that she's familiar with the metro system, knows where we MUST go, where we MUST eat and the things we MUST do!

I've spent HOURS this morning making jewelry. Finally!! It's the first time I've worked on jewelry since before St. Charles. It was such a treat!!

Now I've got to head up to the house, get dressed and go to the printers so I can start making charts. Monday mornings....sigh.....

More Trips!

Tomorrow I'll be heading out about 9:00 AM for Pittsburgh, PA for the EGA Seminar Merchandise Mart. Come see me there!! It's open from 3:00 - 9:00 PM. It's a four hour drive for me, so I'll be coming home Thursday morning.

Saturday, I'll be heading out about 7:00 AM for Muncy, PA for a visit to Bush Mountain Stitchery, Penn Hills Plaza, 21 Kristi Road. Come see me there too!! It's from 10:30 to 4:00 PM. It's only a two hour drive, so I'll get to come home Saturday evening.

Besides that, I've been filling orders. That's about all I've been doing! But, I'm not complaining!! Of the original 2,000 Christmas at Hawk Run Hollow charts I had originally made, 12 are left. AMAZING!!!
